The Wellness Villa

THE BLUE JEWEL

Blue Jewel is Tamarindo’s largest oceanfront Villa. A true swimming beach sits out front with surfing and is walking distance to town. Tamarindo is the most popular and developed town on Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula. It’s home to a big, beautiful beach with great surf, gorgeous views.

The town is also surrounded by Las Baulas National Park, which protects endangered leatherback sea turtles that nest on nearby Playa Grande between October and February. Tamarindo on the Pacific coast, in the Guanacaste/Nicoya Peninsula region of Costa Rica one of the five Blue Zones in the world.

Do you know what the Blue Zones are? Blue Zones are regions of the world where a higher than usual number of people live much longer than average. The term first appeared in the November 2005 National Geographic magazine cover story, "The Secrets of a Long Life" To learn more, click here.
